# Image recommendations

You’ll get the best results if the images being scanned are of high quality and the product features are visible. Here are our recommendations:

* The whole fashion item is fully visible. The fashion item should not be folded, wrinkled, occluded, or truncated
* All visually valuable characteristics of the fashion item should be vivid (neckline, sleeve length for tops, waist type for bottoms, etc.)
* A clear background is recommended
* Good quality images. We recommend at least 800px to 1200px
* We recommend model images (model wearing the fashion item), if that's not possible the app can scan a flat lay image of the fashion item
